BAE CHU STUDIO Founder, Branding, Social DesignThis is my small independent business — Bae Chu Studio.
Right after graduating from school, I founded my own design studio.
I create and sell objects inspired by Korean tradition and culture.

In Korean, “bae chu” means cabbage — what many call napa cabbage.
When you add a touch of red, it transforms into kimchi,
one of Korea’s most iconic and soulful foods.

Just like that,
when I add design to tradition,
it becomes something new — a story, a culture, a connection.

Logo Design
Baechu’ is the Korean word for napa cabbage.
I redesigned the cabbage into a cuter and more minimal form to represent the core identity of my brand.

Concept #1

Bae Chu Red

Add a touch of red pepper to cabbage, and it becomes kimchi, a traditional Korean dish.
Bae Chu Red is a studio inspired by traditional Korean culture, creating accessories that reinterpret its heritage in a contemporary way.

Concept #2

Bae Chu Black

Bae Chu Black is a brand born from my personal experience with death.
It develops emotional dolls designed for those confronting the end of life, offering comfort through empathy and design.
